Monday 5/1/17

Today for lunch we are serving corn dogs and tater tots. On the menu for tomorrow is hamburgers and baked fries. 

Track pictures will be taken after school on Wednesday.  

We will be having our 6/7/8 pep rally on Thursday. 

Friday is our last track meet of the season. It will be in Stanfield. 

On May 11th our 5th Grade Radical Recorders and Ukuleles group will be playing their recorders at Central Station at 10:40 am to raise money for Doernbecher Hospital.

Tech Expo 2017 participants who attended the Tech Expo are invited to apply for the Summer Tech Day Camp. 8th through 11th graders are invited to attend the FREE Summer Tech Day Camp!

Camp Dates: 6/19 thru 6/23 (Monday thru Friday) from 9 AM to 3:30pm. Lunch and snacks to be provided

*Transportation from area districts TBD; Pendleton students will need to arrange their transportation to IMESD, 2001 SW Nye Ave. Pendleton, OR

Pendleton High School is offering a wellness night on May 17th from 7:00-8:30pm in Warberg Court and is open to middle school students as well. There will be no out-of-pocket expenses for sport physicals, annual checkups and dental screenings. If you have any questions, please call 541-966-3802. 

Attention 8th Grade Students: Just a reminder that all incoming freshman planning on playing sports next year are required to have a new physical.

The Athena Main Street Association is having a city-wide cleanup day on Saturday, May 6th – they are in need of several volunteers – information flyers are on the office counter.

Athena Elementary School is hosting a Family Science Night on Thursday, April 27 beginning from 6:00-7:00pm in the Athena elementary gym. This event will be for kindergarten through 8th grade students. This event is being put on by Whitman College and they are looking for some parents to help out. Wednesday - Tri-County band festival for 7th and 8th grade band students at Riverside middle school. The bus will be leaving at 8:10am. There will be a concert in the Riverside gymnasium that will begin at 6:30pm and will last approximately 30 minutes. The concert is open to the public and parents are encouraged to attend. Admission for spectators is $1/person to help defray the expenses of the festival.
