Attention Middle School Teachers, Parents, Students, and Friends!
Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center (NEOAHEC) is excited to announce that the application for Investigators of Science 2023 is now open!
Students in sixth through eighth (6th-8th) grade throughout eastern Oregon are invited to apply for this full day of hands-on STEM exploration on Saturday, November 4 from 8:30am to 3:00pm (PST) in La Grande on the Eastern Oregon University (EOU) campus, hosted in partnership by NEOAHEC and EOU! This year’s engaging theme is “Zombie Apocalypse: Is It Actually Possible?” Participants will put their chemistry, biology, math, computer science, and health & human performance skills to work to solve this engaging biomedical mystery.
Please note that the Investigators of Science application is digital. The application must be completed by students and their parents. The $10 fee is payable via credit or debit card at the time of acceptance. This fee provides admitted students with a T-shirt, lunch, and all supplies for the day.
Don’t let your students miss out on this amazing opportunity! The application closes on Friday, October 13, and an email with acceptance decisions will be sent by October 20.
