Weston Middle School students are spending some time and energy giving back to their
community this holiday season. Students in the WMS Leadership Class have organized a
Clothing Drive in November and December.
The class started the drive last year, along with a canned food drive in January, and they plan to make it an annual event. Students from WMS Leadership collect clothing items every Friday and count them, then take the items to the TigerScot Treasure Trunk located at the school for the student body to access throughout the week. Everything in the Treasure Trunk is free to students.
The drive is hosted at the middle school, but some of the smaller-sized items are distributed to the elementary school.
The Clothing Drive is through Friday, December 20th and donations can be dropped off at the Weston Middle School office.
