Check out what the art classes have been working on at Weston Middle School! Here are a couple of projects from Mrs. Moore's classes: papier-mâché creatures, and mixed media collage prints.
The eighth graders used papier-mâché in newspaper to create their creature forms and painted them with details to make any kind of mythical or realistic animal on a base.
The sixth and seventh graders used construction paper and oil pastels to create patterns on construction paper. Mrs. Moore said, "We had fun picking out leaves to make prints with, and the students added designs with paint pens for the final touches."
